Online ACLS Certification Course Overview

 

This ACLS course has a total of 10 case studies with their associated learning objectives:

  1. Acute coronary syndromes (ACS) & 12 lead ECG classifications
  2. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
  3. Asystole - causes & treatment modalities
  4. Bradycardia  - identification & treatment modalities, inclusing TCP
  5. Narrow complex tachycardia - treatment modalities , inclusing cardioversion
  6. Pulseless electrical activity (PEA) - identification & treatment modalities
  7. Respiratory arrest - treatment, including use of advanced airways devices
  8. Stroke - warning signs & 7 "D's" of stroke survival and recovery
  9. Ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia 
  10. Wide complex tachycardia 

Continuing education hours (immediately upon completion of online portion of course):
6 hours CEM/CEH credit for physicians, physicians assistants, and pre-hospital providers from the AMA, ACEP, AAPA and CECBEMS
6.8 hours CEH credit for nurses from the ENA
